Time for a new adventure, but first we gotta find it!

Michael has enjoyed his work at Kynetx changing the way people use the internet, but on Wednesday, he was told that due to funding issues, he and a majority of the company were being let go. His last day is today.

While this is not good news, we have still been blessed. Olivia arrived before the loss of insurance; Michael has very marketable skills; Michael has his degree on our wall, and Nathan's tonsils are somewhere in a jar and not his throat causing fevers and havoc; we have tried to be wise and are as prepared as we could be (the kids might finally get sick of mac and cheese :-). See how much worse this could be?

So, it's time for a new adventure in the employment world. Michael already has several leads for jobs. He's polishing up the old resume and is networking like mad. He's posted some info on his blog and his bio page. If you hear of anything geek related, let us know. I have all the confidence in the world that we'll find work very soon. We just hit a bump in the road, and while we don't know exactly how this will all work out, it's going to be quite the ride.
