Happy Easter! We had a fabulous Easter celebration while getting back into our routine after our trip (see a few posts below). We enjoyed General Conference and all the Easter festivities. Unfortunately, the holiday came immediately following our camera mishap, but fortunately, Daddy's phone takes photos. :-)
Our Easter baskets were buried (literally) in the storage room with all the rest of our junk hiding in the basement. The kids were understanding, and we decorated brown paper bags while Daddy was away at priesthood meeting Saturday night.

Abbie showing off her Easter bunny loot. The Easter Bunny made a deal with Daddy that if Abbie could read the Princess and the Frog book by her birthday, the Bunny would return with the movie for an extra Easter/Birthday surprise. Abbie had read the book twice before the day was out so I guess we get a second visit from the friendly rabbit.

Nathan is showing off his Easter loot including his favorite chocolate with a classic Nathan face. Just another reason why I love this kid. He was excited that he got a hamster just like Abbie's from Christmas so now they play hamsters together all. the. time.

Andrew wasn't really excited to show off his Easter Bag, but he did love being involved in the kids game of Super Heroes between conference sessions. He chased after them laughing and laughing all over the house while they yelled, "Super Hero Baby Andrew to the rescue!" He enjoyed his nap very much during the afternoon session.
After conference, Grandma and Grandpa Hales joined us for dinner and some egg coloring. It was fun to see them and tell them about our adventures in Utah.

Nathan was very excited to start coloring those eggs.

Abbie as a very serious egg artist this year while Nathan just plopped the eggs into the dye without a care in the world (or about the mess he was making). It was a fun activity. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for sharing your Easter with us.
