Frosty the snowman

We finally received snowman worthy snow! The big kids and Daddy went right to work making a great snowman. Abbie and Nathan love Frosty the Snowman and so thus he was named. Unfortunately, there wasn't any magic in the hat Mom found, but the kids danced around him anyway.


Yesterday, we had snow which created less than favorable driving conditions. Rocket (our van) did his best, but the roads were very slick. We made it to and from preschool without any injuries even though we missed a few intersections and had to take a few detours, and poor Rocket had to spend the day stuck in the snow in our driveway thanks to snowplow residue. Fortunately, by the time Dad made it home from work, enough of the snow had melted that Rocket is now safely resting in the garage. A trip to the tire store is in our very near future. I wish I could say the same for spring.
