So I haven't posted anything in awhile because I haven't felt that our recent activities were worthy of photos, and I like to post photos (mostly because I think my kids are cute), but the recent developments in the kids' vocabulary are impressive, and so I felt that they were worthy of mention--even if we didn't capture the moment photographically.
Abigail is starting to say things that are funny when you remember that she is only three. One of my personal favorites is when she says, " Mom, you are a genius!" when I do something so technically challenging as getting her a drink of milk. The other day we were driving in our van, Rocket, and she said, "I am so nervous for all this snow and ice on the road. I hope Rocket can be safe." Another favorite, "Daddy, you need to pay attention to Mom." Sometimes she makes up words or mixes up the letters in the words. One of our favorites is "flawfully" which by using context clues, we think means a cross between floppy and swishy. Maybe Abbie can explain it better. Lately, she has been having trouble saying washcloth as it comes out closhwath. She's a treat, and she is becoming quite the grown up little lady.
Nathan has been really trying to communicate vocally lately. He has learned many new words for which of course he has his own version. We are probably the only ones than can understand him most of the time as most of the words sound very similar, but he compensates by having very good miming skills and lots of emotion. He has all the actions down for the Primary songs we sing at FHE and in nursery. He does a very funny "Once there was a snowman" as his snowman is usually melted halfway through, and his "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" has been known to bring quite the round of applause.
We have great kids, and they are growing up way too fast, but we are enjoying them immensely.

I think my favorite is telling Daddy to pay attention to mommy!. Your kids sounds like they are so much fun. It is too bad that we don't live closer we could do play dates! I agree though kids do grow up too quickly. I keep thinking that about mine. (=
