Abbie's a Sunbeam!

Abbie has been very excited to start Primary and be a Sunbeam. She has been talking for weeks about how fun it will be to sing with the big kids and Mom in Primary. When it was finally time to go she clasped her hands together and asked, "Mommy, is it time to go to Primary? I am so excited!" She did great and was excited to see all her friends and tell them that now they were Sunbeams. Mom had a harder time. I sat at the piano and cried all the way through the opening song because I could hear her little twang as we sang "Families Can Be Together Forever." It's hard to believe that she is getting so big. She was so proud of her I am a child of God crown. She wanted to wear it all day, but it is now in a place of honor on her shelf. When we got home and made our traditional Sunday afternoon call to Grandpa and Grandma, she said she wanted to talk. She got on the phone and proudly announced, "Papa, I'm a Sunbeam!" I am so proud of her. She is a great little girl.

Abbie was very proud to wear her Sunbeam crown and show everyone the little book she made in Sharing Time. She loves being a Sunbeam.

She looks darling and congratulations to her on becoming a Sunbeam. Maren graduated to being a Sunbeam this year too, but there were more tears than excitement. I am so glad that she is so happy about Primary. It is such a fun point in their lives. And how lucky that you are in there with her.
