Finally! It is feeling like summer around here. This past week we were able to get out Abbie's birthday pool and as Nathan says "Splash and splash!" They love to jump in the pool, yell "cannon ball" and land on their knees. It makes me and my sore knees cringe, but they both seem to love it.
While Andrew didn't participate in the pool, he did contribute a hearty giggle whenever the water splashed on him. Most of the time, he chooses to lounge in the house while the kids are splashing.
In our last pool adventure, the kids bailed all but about one inch of the water out of the pool using their boats. They were using the water to kill the spider on the fence. While I don't know the ultimate fate of said spider, I do know that our fence is a lot cleaner. Thanks, kids!
