Happy Birthday to Nathan! We love you, Naters!
Hurray for our cute Nathan to turn three on May 20! We had lots of fun with Grandpa and Grandma, and Nathan enjoyed being the center of attention for his special day. We all love Nathan, and we are grateful that he is in our family.
Nathan loved his Sesame Street balloon and has been naming all the characters on it ever since. He also got some fun toys for playing outside in the summer sun.
Nathan took the whole birthday thing very seriously--except for when he'd give you his huge smile and yell, "Hurray for Nathan! It's my birthday!"
He began practicing for the big candle moment the second he woke up. He'd say, "1,2,3....blow!"
He did a great job! Now that we've got the blowing part down, next year, we'll work on waiting until after the song is finished.

He is so cute! I love the fact that he didn't wait until the song was over to blow those candles out. I honestly think that song goes on way too long and it is definitely hard to wait til the end. Happy Birthday Nathan!
