So many, many moons ago... so many in fact that I doubt the time should/could even be counted in moons, I purchased a car. I drove it for years. We traveled across Utah together when I was a state employee. He never really liked Parley's Canyon as we made our annual trek to Park City, and we often felt very tiny when traveling to downtown Salt Lake, but we had great adventures. Our family still has this car. Michael has been the chief driver since Abbie was born. It's nothing fancy and in all reality has given us very little trouble considering it has many, many miles. It's been a good little car...a trusted little friend.
On Friday, it decided it was tired or at least the alternator did. My dear little Ned is at the car doctor (as Abbie and Nathan have dubbed it). Now comes the next big question... do we try to get a different car or just keeping pushing Ned until a major part falls on the highway? Ned is 12 years old, and I think in car years that is really old. With Michael commuting to Rexburg everyday, we definitely need a reliable vehicle. Oh, little Ned why did you have to get sick? Abbie keeps asking when Ned will be home. Hopefully tomorrow Abbie, but I don't know how long he'll stay.

Good luck with the car. I hate car troubles! Not only is it expensive but it takes forever to have the car at the "car doctor" not to mention expensive. I hope that it all turns out ok.
