Safari away!

My kids are on an imagination journey kick (probably forced upon them by their mother who insisted that all the big obnoxious toys that have been forcing my living room to take on that Fisher Price look be banned to the downstairs playroom which is getting limited use due to Nathan's frequent trips to the bathroom) and have been playing safari and animal hunt a lot lately. We have found elephants that ran down the stairs so we only caught a glimpse of them, and penguins in Africa (aka the cupboard next to the dishwasher) and dogs in the entry way. With their usual zest for hats, they are always wearing them during their adventures. I have yet to capture on camera Abbie and Nathan with their headgear, but I did get Andrew's look of shock and enjoyment when he was included in the game.

Andrew wearing his "cowboy" hat as so named by his older siblings.
Oh, little Andrew--may this the be worst treatment you receive from your siblings.

What great imaginations your kids have. I wish mine were as creative. I love the hat on Andrew...I think it could pass as a "Cowboy" hat. (=
