So even though we've had a lot of things happening around here this week, I haven't really felt that anyone of them was really blog worthy on their own, but when you add them together, you either really admire our ability to survive such craziness, you just really pity us, or you admire our attempt to find humor in all things . Hopefully, you'll find humor in our craziness.
Sunday--Per Abbie's request, she had curly hair for church. I don't think this was quite what she had in mind, but she was really happy. Nathan decided to tryout tap dancing--not so unusual except he tried it in his sister's dress shoes. At least they were on the right feet :-)
Monday-- I was attacked by two, yes, two St. Bernard sized dogs in the middle of First Street. I saw the first one in the middle of the road so I honked and slowed down. He just stood there. Then his friend appeared. By this time, I had come to a complete stop so they decided to lick my front tires. I honked and tried to move on, but it is difficult to make progress when you have a St. Bernard in your blind spots. Just so you know, they don't really appear as cuddly in person when they are leaving slobber all over your tires as they appear in the movies when they save people from avalanches. Another FYI, they aren't frightened by large vehicles with loud horns. Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst five minutes of my Monday, but I am trying to block the rest of the day from my memory.
Tuesday- Andrew's three week birthday. He's getting really chubby and is a wonderful baby. Nathan discovered that in a pinch rigatoni noodles can be a good substitute for Chinese handcuffs.
Wednesday--I folded more laundry then I want to think about. Yep, laundry pretty much takes your day.
Thursday-- Abbie discovered that although it may look like fun, coloring on the computer monitor doesn't yield the same praise from Mom as coloring in the coloring book. :-(. Windex to the rescue. I moved my maternity clothes to a box in the basement. Yeah! I also finally found a home for the books that were just floating around the living room. Cleaned out the filing cabinet, too. I found receipts for things I had forgotten we purchased, but now at least I have a home for the receipts. Overall, a productive day.

I love Abby's hair and you can't beat those shoes! Your baby is getting so big! And honestly I am truly impressed that you have been so productive with a three week old baby. You sound like Wondermom!!!
