Grandma and Grandpa Farmer Visit

We were excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Farmer visit us in Idaho this past weekend. We had a trip to the zoo and a picnic for an adventure. It was fun to have them visit us, and the kids loved the extra attention. Here are some pics from our adventure.

Nathan and Abbie loved the kids zoo with the farm animals. Nathan found the chickens particularly entertaining.

Abbie found the big cats exciting. For Nathan, the tiger statue was nearly as great as the big cat himself.

Both kids loved feeding the ducks. Abbie even got a chance to be a Zoo Helper and feed the pelicans fish. She said it wasn't hard to feed a pelican because you just put the fish in your hand with the glove and throw it in the water and then the pelicans eat it. Oh... that everything were just that simple. :-)

We finished the park adventure with a picnic. The weather was fabulous. The kids enjoyed a game of tag with Grandpa and then we packed up the van to head home for a rest. It was a fun day. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for sharing time with us.
