Farmer family Halloween

Abbie and Nathan had a great Halloween. Abbie went around most of the day saying "trick-or-treat!" At lunch, I asked her what happened when you went trick -or-treating and she told me that people give you lots of toys. We had a clarifying conversation, and she became excited about the candy idea. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Nathan sorting the candy for our trick-or-treaters. It appeared that he was sorting by variety, but I've been meaning to ask him if it was really according to his favorite flavors.

Nathan and Dad had fun while waiting for Abbie to get ready. Nathan is just a fun kid.

Abbie in pre-costume/prep mode. She was excited to wear her princess shirt to get ready for her costume.

Here comes Linus. I cheated with Nathan's costume. He (really Dad) carried a blue blanket to be Linus Van Pelt. He had a great time just being with Dad and being outside.

Abbie posing as a princess. She was excited to wear a costume.

Ready for adventure

As part of the Halloween prep, we had the traditional Monday before Halloween jack-o-lantern FHE. Abbie likes to "light" the pumpkin with her flashlight from her Arctic Circle kids meal.
